Crossfire: Miniseries | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Hugo Rifkind Times (UK) Ingleby conveyed Jason’s anguish potently, as did the rest of the cast as they whimpered in fear. It was well directed, too, although troublingly the terrorist scenes evoked real-life atrocities a little too closely. Rated: 3/5 Sep 21, 2022 Full Review Crossfire: Miniseries | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Nick Hilton Independent (UK) How many bad shows can a good actor star in before you have to start considering the possibly uncomfortable reality that they are, in fact, a bad actor? Well, this is an experiment that Keeley Hawes seems to be undertaking. Rated: 2/5 Sep 21, 2022 Full Review Crossfire: Miniseries | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Rachel Cooke New Statesman If the white wine is open and you’ve nothing better to do, it might be a fun thing to watch while simultaneously WhatsApp-ing your pals and attending to your toenails. But boy, it’s preposterous. Sep 21, 2022 Full Review Crossfire: Miniseries | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Martin Carr Yahoo! Movies This exceptional piece of BBC drama from award winning author Louise Doughty, plays games with structure which will keep audiences guessing. May 20, 2023 Full Review Crossfire: Miniseries | Rotten Tomatoes (5) James Croot Stuff.co.nz Instead, this Canary Islands-set thriller feels like a lesser version of Anthony Maras’ Hotel Mumbai filled with spiky characters it’s hard to really care all that much about. Jan 5, 2023 Full Review Crossfire: Miniseries | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Joel Keller Decider Crossfire starts off giving its viewers some real-life anxiety and then starts to squander that tension almost immediately. To be honest, it’s bad enough we see stories like this on the news; we don’t need to see it as entertainment at this point. Nov 16, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Mary A Excellent thriller series. Can't understand low ratings. It kept up the thrill throughout as well as building up character backgrounds and relationships. A Group of friends , partners and their children travel and holiday together at a luxurious resort. There were a few cheating spouses within the group and cracks begin to show. However, gunmen let loose on the resort killing anyone in their path. The only semi annoying part which could account for the lower reviews is that it started out as a thriller but ended up being kind of an action hero type script with one of the main characters being an ex cop taking on the gunmen. Would have been much better if it had of just stuck with the story line of maybe each family member trying to escape in different scenarios instead of having them all run and hide and have the one ex lady cop saving the day! Ended up being a bit too typical- like you were watching some American thriller. I do love the UK actors in this- all excellent! Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/31/23 Full Review Monique L What a waste of time! Super unrealistic and some of the worst acting you'll ever see, especially from Shalisha James-Davis! Why couldn't they just kill her off so we didn't have to deal with her terrible acting? Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/19/23 Full Review Steve W This show is almost laughable. The premise of the show is ok. People act stupid throughout the show. Brit Box should dump this show. Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/30/23 Full Review Brett C Stupid twice.Stupid movie about stupid people. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Pat D At first, I saw it as just another 'thriller' with a current twist. But when I let myself go a bit deeper, I saw the constant underlying theme was the life-shattering potential of impulsive self-indulgence without reflecting on possible consequence. And as with so many British productions, none of the characters were formula, one-sided characters. Most had strengths and weaknesses, and weren't as predictable as most pop stuff. Glad I watched it!! Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/27/22 Full Review Dan G There isn't one likeable character in this appalling series. Its a pity the shooters didn't find the writer and producer of Crossfire to save us and the cast the ordeal of viewing this. Without doubt the worst show of 2022.
